Aditi is a queer feminist development professional. At TYPF, she engaged in facilitating young people’s capacity building and participation in policy development and implementation mechanisms on issues of gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights. She anchored a national policy working group of young leaders and activists and coordinated the organisation’s engagement with government officials. Aditi represented TYPF in international coalitions such as the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, and the UN Economic and Social Commission for the Asia Pacific. She had also been a part of the India-level delegation in the Beijing +25 process and had been involved in the Asia-Pacific Review for the same.
Aditi has a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from King’s College London. Prior to joining TYPF, she worked on child rights issues including child sexual abuse and trafficking. She has a keen interest in issues of bodily autonomy, criminalisation, and ability to consent at the intersections of queer identities and rights, adolescence, and health access.
