Mardon Wali Baat – Coordinator

Fatima has been working with grassroots organisations that focus on gender, social justice, capacity building, violence, and leadership. As a researcher, writer, and photographer, she focuses on the intersectionality of these themes, and also curates spaces for dialogue, interaction, and learning with an arts-based approach. Some of her work has focussed on women’s rights, transgender population and digital healthcare accessibility, child labour, and educational rights of minority population.

At The YP Foundation, she anchors to create an inclusive, and intersectional space to take forward different strategies to include men and boys in the conversation on masculinities. Her role includes curating and designing the facilitation of these conversations, creating an inclusive and intersectional space.

Fatima is an alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia, and has been a fellow at LedBy, Change.org, and Reframe Arts. To maintain the balance, she writes political poems, mothers a cat, and lives like a Lucknowi Begum.
