Aabha hails from Kerala and holds a Masters degree in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi. Before joining The YP Foundation, Aabha worked as a photojournalist in magazines where she started using various media and documentation strategies to advocate for social change.

At The YP Foundation, Aabha works on advocacy, internal and external communication, knowledge production, and bringing further visibility to the organisation’s work.

Aabha aspires to see a more equitable and just society and finds herself learning new things almost every day while working towards this goal.
