QADAM Youth Leadership Journey

About QADAM Youth Leadership Journey
QADAM Youth Leadership Programme is a nine-month, youth-led journey by The YP Foundation that builds feminist, rights-based leadership among young people in Rajasthan. Designed for youth aged 18–25, QADAM strengthens individual and collective capacities to understand digital rights, consent, documentation, and response pathways, particularly in relation to technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV). Through a carefully structured mix of in-person workshops, online learning, mentorship, and community-based action, participants deepen their understanding of gender, sexuality, identity, power, and violence in both online and offline spaces. The journey moves from foundational perspective-building to issue-based specialisation, enabling young leaders to choose and work on themes such as masculinities, queer and trans* rights, campus engagement, and digital safety. QADAM emphasises collective care, survivor-centred approaches, and youth-informed solutions, while nurturing affirming community ecosystems and advocating for institutional change. Ultimately, the programme supports young people to organise, lead collective action, and shift social norms towards dignity, autonomy, and justice.
