Key Responsibilities:
A. Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
● Support the use of a participatory and collaborative approach to MEL processes across programmes.
● Coordinate MEL-related activities with programme teams through structured discussions, workshops, and consultations.
● Use of accessible tools such as spreadsheets, Google Docs, trackers, and shared templates to document programme data and learning.
● Ensuring MEL processes remain practical, adaptable, and aligned with programme realities.
● Contribute to keeping MEL documentation clear and free from unnecessary technical jargon. Orientation and needs assessment processes to build shared understanding of MEL objectives, expectations, and gaps across teams.
● Assist in consolidating programme-level indicators, outcomes, outputs, and Theory of Change documents in coordination with programme teams.
● Coordinate programme-level MEL meetings and support documentation of indicators, outcomes, and learning.
● Maintenance and use of the MIS system, including data entry coordination, quality checks, and documentation.
● Organizing internal MEL workshops and learning sessions for teams.
● Support quarterly and periodic reviews by compiling data, reflections, and summaries.
● Documenting learnings, reflections, and suggested improvements for future cycles.
● Support pilot testing of MEL tools and contribute to learning reports after data collection cycles.
B. Resource Mobilisation Support
● Coordinating inputs from programme teams for writing proposals, concept notes, and pitches.
● Assist in compiling programme information, budgets, indicators, and narratives required for donor submissions.
● Maintain donor trackers, proposal status sheets, and documentation related to grants and partnerships.
● Coordination across programmes to ensure alignment between funding proposals and programme priorities.
● Tracking funder reporting timelines and documentation requirements.
● Preparation and ensuring timely submission of organisational reports, presentations, programme profiles, and learning documents for stakeholders.
● Maintaining high-quality documentation of programme approaches, outcomes, and learning.
● Internal knowledge management by organizing shared folders, documents, and learning resources.
C. Organisational and Team Support
● Work collaboratively with peers across programmes to support organisational goals.
● Support internal systems related to due diligence, grant documentation, monitoring, and review processes.
● Contribute to a positive, respectful, and learning-oriented work environment.
● Support representation preparations for external platforms by assisting with briefs, presentations, and documentation.
● Carry out coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks to support smooth programme and organisational functioning.
Eligibility Criteria
● Graduate degree from a recognised University in any field.
● 3-5 years of prior experience working with Monitoring and Evaluation, writing proposals, report writing, and communication with funders, donors, partners and other stakeholders.
● Language(s): High level of proficiency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge and functional proficiency in any other regional language including Assamese, Hindi and Malayalam will be given preference.
● Proficiency in using web-based and MS Office applications for key communication, documentation and institutional and programmatic processes.
● Experienced in written documentation and writing reports, case studies, stories of change, media briefs and creating and editing program-based content.
● Experience of networking with government bodies, partners, grant makers and civil society organisations, and a wide range of companies, partners and donors at local, national and international levels.
Salary Range: Rs. 50,000 - 65,000
