Shatarupa is a feminist practitioner working at the intersections of masculinities, gender justice, and youth engagement. With a strong grounding in feminist and rights-based frameworks, their work focuses on facilitating critical conversations around gender, power, sexuality, and violence, particularly in institutional and youth-led spaces. She brings a deep commitment to creating inclusive, safer environments through capacity building, strategic communication, and collaborative learning processes.

Her experience spans across research, facilitation and communications. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics, which has further shaped her analytical and research lens. Shatarupa has previously engaged with various organisations in different capacities working in the field of Comprehensive Sexuality Education and sexual and reproductive health rights. She loves listening to and recommending Bengali songs and taking around people to her favourite places in Delhi.
