Nidhi is a young feminist activist working at the intersections of communications, knowledge production, and youth leadership. With over eight years of experience across sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), policy engagement, and safer cities for young people, she is deeply interested in how stories, narratives, and information can shift power and open up more inclusive futures.

At The YP Foundation, Nidhi leads Communications and Knowledge Production, where she shapes how ideas travel, land, and spark dialogue. Her work brings together strategy and storytelling—designing campaigns, curating knowledge, and building platforms that centre young people not just as participants, but as thinkers, creators, and decision-makers.

Nidhi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Kamala Nehru College and a Master’s degree in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi. Her postgraduate research explored the implications of diluting Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, focusing on its impact on married women navigating domestic violence.

Before joining TYPF, she worked as a trainer at Manas Foundation, facilitating gender sensitisation workshops that encouraged critical conversations around equality and gender based violence prevention.

Outside of work, Nidhi is often found dancing, befriending animals, or chasing quiet moments in nature—sometimes all at once.
